With the current economic climate many people a looking for a business they can operate from home.

The Sunday Papers are full of “Business Opportunities”, now don’t get me wrong many will work, but all too often they are get rich quick schemes, promising riches beyond belief that are not worth the paper they are printed on.

Sadly, many Internet Opportunities are also too good to be true opportunities, scams.. However many are genuine and the purpose of this website is to lower or remove the risk of you investing in a scam.

Don’t expect to earn a fortune without the four letter word W.O.R.K.

Locating a fantastic internet marketing program can be intimidating, frustrating and down right expensive. I know because over years of trying, and must have spent hundreds if not thousands of Dollars.

So how do you find a system that WILL work and NOT break the Bank!

There are literally tens of thousands of products available on the market, many of which have affiliate programs that you can sell and promote to others so that you can earn that all important ongoing income.

How do you find the best one for your website or list?

The best affiliate programs should have the following features:

They track multiple sales. When you direct one of your customers to a merchants product, is that redirect protected by cookies for future sales?

Sales should be tracked for months, and not just days. Your affiliate tag on a customer shouldn’t expire for at least 30 days. Many merchants place limits on how long a customer is tagged for, and if they purchase after this period expires, you will no longer make any commissions from sales to that customer. The best internet marketing affiliate programs last for 60 days or more.

Are you making a significant amount per sale?

You should also be making at least 50% of the sale price. Some merchants offer 70% commissions or more. That might seem generous, but unless you are making $10 to $15 per sale it is hardly worth your time and effort promoting the product.

Free Content is great and many internet marketing programs offer this up front, frequently they include: Free Tools, Free Programs, Free Memberships etc and at the back end they offer One Time Offers (OTO), Restricted Availability Upgrades, Premium Memberships all of which will pay you the affiliate a generous commission, some even pay ongoing commission on recurring payments.

The best and most reliable source for products has to be Clickbank, but you need to know how to identify the Great from the Reasonable.

Look for the conversion rates, they need to be high. If a product isn’t converting, there’s no point in promoting it!

Remember that lower priced products should convert better than higher priced products.

Business Opportunities and what you should remember:

Most will require you to pay an upfront fee for the information.

Business Opportunities are formatted to make the developer money.

What you need to decide is whether the information or services provided will make you money

Does the price of any individual opportunity reflect the value.

Some unbelievably cheap opportunities can be extremely profitable. However, some of the expensive ones can prove disastrous.

There is no easy way to make money you need to WORK AT IT.
